The Radio Television Program at LBCC includes a radio component and each of the three Certificates offered in R/TV can be earned with an emphasis in radio. While the college has been affiliated with a radio station for about 50 years, the students have been responsible for running the campus radio station, KLBC, for the last 30 years. The philosophy of the program is "hands on" training with students managing all aspects of the radio station operation including "on air" shifts.

Internships at local radio stations are available through the R/TV Work Experience Program. Students should have either some previous experience or have been enrolled in the R/TV Program for at least one semester prior to applying for an internship.
