Students learn entry and mid-level skills in the day-today management of all types of hotels, convention centers, cruise lines, theme parks and resorts. Students enhance their skills in hotel management, in areas such as controller, housekeeping, auditor, banquet sales, bell hops, concierge, sales and marketing, purchasing, conference sales, front office, guest services, mail and telephone, PBX, reservations, human resources and operations. With additional courses identified on a transfer curriculum guide for Hotel Management, students can prepare for a baccalaureate degree in this field.
