Philosophy courses provide students with the opportunity to explore issues pertaining to personal existence, knowledge and reality, God and religion, and the meaning of life. In addition to familiarizing you with some of the major historical figures and schools within philosophy, our courses will help you develop your critical reasoning and critical writing skills. Some students take philosophy courses because of their intrinsic interest, while others take them as part of an A.A. or A.S. degree, or for transferable credit to four-year colleges and universities.
